Seneca Falls – John A. Dragone, 96, formerly of Bridge St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Thursday (November 27, 2014) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY.
Funeral services and burial, in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY, will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Church, c/o St. Patrick’s Church Office, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY 13165
John was born in Seneca Falls, NY on February 6, 1918 the son of the late Francis & Clara Cassone Dragone. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and was retired from Gould’s Pumps of Seneca Falls. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and had been stationed in the Aleutian Islands in Alaska. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls and a former member of Seneca Falls Knights of Columbus, Council #222. John was a talented musician, playing in the U.S. Army Band and local bands. He played the saxophone & the violin. John had the honor of playing at the United Nations Conference in San Francisco, California when he was a member of the U.S. Army Band. John was a loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his wife, Mary Zone Dragone who died January 28, 1999, and his sisters, Grace Carissimi, Jane Giusti, Yolanda Acee, & Ann Rapa.
