Waterloo – John “Jack” R. Bunce, 70, formerly of Wycliffe St., Waterloo, NY, died Saturday (October 27, 2012) at the Homestead Nursing Home, Penn Yan, NY.
Family and friends are invited to attend Jack’s Memorial Mass on Monday (November 5, 2012) at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial, with military honors, will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. Jack was born in Seneca Falls, NY on October 21, 1942 the son of the late William and Eudora Penoyer Bunce. He was a lifetime resident of the Waterloo-Seneca Falls area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from Seneca-Cayuga A.R.C. of Waterloo, NY. Jack also had worked for the former Seneca Falls Machine Shop. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, the Waterloo Post #6433 V.F.W, the Warner-VanRiper Post #435 American Legion of Waterloo and the National Rifle Association. He had been a member of the Waterloo Knights of Columbus. Jack was an avid hunter over the years.
