Seneca Falls – Joseph F. Dombrowski Jr., 81, of Green St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Tuesday
(March 13, 2012) at Clifton Springs Hospital, Clifton Springs, NY.

Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Thursday (March 15) from 5 – 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday (March 16) at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Church, C/o St. Patrick’s Church Office, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY or to the Finger Lakes Community Cancer Center, 6 Coulter Road, Clifton Springs, NY 14432.

Joe was born in Seneca Falls on July 15, 1930 the son of the late Joseph & Viola Podgorny Dombrowski Sr.. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Air Force. He was retired from Gould’s Pumps where he was Traffic Manager and also had served in the New York State Police. Joe was currently employed by Sinicropi Florist of Seneca Falls. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls and a former member of the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #992. He had coached for the Seneca Falls Little League and was a very proud of the fact that his team went to the state championships. Joe loved to play golf and to fish.

His wife, Faye Coleman Dombrowski of Seneca Falls whom he married on August 25, 1956
1 daughter – JoAnn (Joseph) Caratozzolo – Seneca Falls, NY
3 sons – Richard (Maureen) Dombrowski –Denver, Colorado
Thomas Dombrowski – Seneca Falls, NY
Randy (Christine) Dombrowski – Seneca Falls, NY
15 grandchildren: Anthony, Joseph Jr., & Patrick Caratozzolo, Jessica (Ethan) Eger, Allison McMurchie, Sarah (Greg) Jankowliak, Felicia & Taylor Dombrowski, Kevin, Kaitlyn, Keith, Kyle, Kaleb, Samantha, & Carly Dombrowski
3 great grandchildren –Cameron & Collin Caratozzolo, & Jenna Jankowliak.
Several nieces and nephews
He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Dombrowski who died March 16, 1995.
