Judith “Judy” M. Hollister, 64 of Basin St., Union Springs, NY, passed away on Friday (February 9, 2018) at Matthew House, Auburn, NY.
Family and friends may attend Judy’s Memorial Service on Saturday (March 10, 2018) at 10 AM at First United Methodist Church, corner of Chapel & State Streets, Seneca Falls, NY. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, River Road, Waterloo, NY 13165.
Judy was born in Syracuse, NY on August 14, 1953 the daughter of the late Glenn & Betty Fehrman Van Sanford. She was a graduate of Powelson Business Institute in Syracuse, NY where she earned her Associates Degree in Business. She had resided in Union Springs for the past 13 years, moving from Syracuse, NY. She had been employed in Customer Service at McKenzie-Childs in Aurora, NY. Judy enjoyed gardening & crafting. Judy, who was truly an angel, loved her family and her pets.

Her husband, Michael F. Hollister of Union Springs, NY whom she married on July 16, 1988
1 daughter – Sarah Sterling – Auburn, NY
1 son – Michael (Shaina) Decker – New Woodstock, NY
7 grandchildren – Evan Cross, Brian, Jayden, Blake, & Jarrett Hollister, & Layla & Liam Decker
1 sister – Jean (Ray) Rivers – N. Syracuse, NY
1 brother – James (Eileen) Van Sanford
