Seneca Falls – Larry Bertino, 79, of Ovid St., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday (May 6, 2014) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY, with his family at his side.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Friday (May 9) from 4 to 7 PM. Larry’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday (May 10) at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend Roy Kiggins as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to the Geneva Outpatient Dialysis Center, 196 North St., Geneva, NY 14456.
Larry was born in Waterloo, NY on December 8, 1934 the son of the late Frank and Doris Myers Bertino. He was a life resident of the Seneca Falls – Waterloo area. He was retired from Gould’s Pumps of Seneca Falls where he was a machinist for 36 years. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls. Larry loved his times at O.T.B. and Finger Lakes Casino and Racetrack where he would enjoy spending time with his buddies from Gould’s Pumps. He and his late wife Margaret, whom he was married to for 45 years, loved to travel, especially their trips to Lake George and Las Vegas. He was an avid New York Yankee fan, Minnesota Viking fan, and in his later years, a Buffalo Bills fan. He was a very loving father, grandfather, & friend to all.

8 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren

In addition to his parents, Larry was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Martello Bertino who did May 26, 2000, his son, James Michael Bertino, 2 sisters, Marion Fratto & Phyllis Bartz, & his brother, David Bertino.
