Leslie “Les” C. Noble, 63, of Carol Ave., Seneca Falls, NY, died unexpectedly Sunday (November 24, 2013) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Wednesday (November 27) from 4 to 7 PM. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday (November 29) at 10 AM at First United Methodist Church, 2 Chapel St., Seneca Falls, with Reverend Eleanor Collinsworth, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 2 Chapel St., Seneca Falls, NY 13148 or to Beverly Animal Shelter, River Rd., Waterloo, NY 13165
The Seneca County Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the funeral home on Wednesday evening (November 27) at 7 PM.
Les was born in Lyons, NY on October 26, 1950 the son of Claude & Izola Bookout Noble. He was a graduate of S.U.N.Y at Albany where received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and a graduate of Southern Illinois University where he received his Masters in Business Administration (MBA). He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in the Viet Nam War. Les had attained the rank of Captain.
He was employed as a Commodity Manager at Gould’s Pumps of Seneca Falls, retiring this past July. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Seneca Falls, NY & a member of the Kirk-Casey Post#366 American Legion, Seneca Falls, NY. Les loved his Mustang, loved hunting and time in the woods, loved the water and riding his jet-ski, and enjoyed gazing at the stars. He especially enjoyed his time with wife, children and his 4 grandchildren.
