Lorna D. Spina



Waterloo: Lorna Spina, 68, passed away, Sunday evening, November 13, 2011 in her home with her family by her side.

In keeping with Lorna’s wishes there will be no public calling hours.  A memorial mass will be Friday, November 18, 2011 at 10:00 AM in Saint Mary’s Church, Waterloo. Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Waterloo.

Lorna’s family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be directed to: Seneca County Relay for Life, Seneca Falls Savings Bank, Attention: Nancy Belle, 19 Cayuga Street, Seneca Falls, NY 13148.  Please make checks payable to American Cancer Society.

A special holiday message…

Are you looking for a creative way to give back during the holiday season? The Seneca County House of Concern has put together a “Holiday Wish List” of our biggest needs. Your contribution will go specifically toward the item you selected and you can even choose the denomination you’d like to donate!

You are invited to purchase the total cost of the product or cover a portion with your donation. Whether $20, $50, $100, or more, your generosity helps propel our mission…throughout the holidays and all year long.

Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) upgrades are needed to provide comfort and optimal indoor air quality.

Total Cost: $4,000

CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS HVAC

 
We are hoping to provide updated laptops for our staff in order to better serve our clients, customers, and operations.

Total Cost: $600 each

CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS LAPTOPS

 
Our roof was in need of significant repair, which we financed with a loan. We are looking to pay the loan off in full.

Total Cost: $10,000

CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS ROOF
 
Through the services of Foodlink, we are able to provide a week’s worth of food for a family of 4 at only $80 per week.

Total Cost: $80 per family (3 meals a day / 5 days a week)
