Marcia Eloise (Gambee) Dildine age 73 of Homosassa, Florida, and summer resident of Edwards, NY passed away Monday January 16th at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, Florida after a brief illness.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 21st at the First Presbyterian Church on the Park in Canton, NY at 11am with a reception following the service.  Marcia was born on July 29, 1937 in Buffalo, New York to Thelma Louise Gambee and Lou “Welly” Wellington Gambee.

She attended Romulus Central School graduating in 1956.  She married Paul Stanley Dildine on November 9^th, 1956 in the West Fayette Presbyterian Church. Paul predeceased her on July 4, 1989.

She is survived by a son Thomas Dildine, of Canton, NY, granddaughter Kimberly Dildine of Treadwell, NY, stepson Jon “Steve” (Helen) Stephen Bennett of Fayetteville, NC, brother Richard (Mary) Gambee of Seneca Falls, NY, Jeanne (Bob) Mosher of Waterloo, NY,  and June Pardue of Syracuse, NY.

She was employed by Sampson State Psychiatric Hospital and then Willard Psychiatric Center until her retirement.  Marcia greatly enjoyed crafts, quilting, knitting, crocheting, camping, card games, and church activities.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Crystal River, FL and  was an active ordained Deacon.
