Margaret Grace Burke, 91, of Seligman, AZ, formerly of Waterloo, NY, passed away Wednesday (May 23, 2012) in Seligman, AZ. after a brief illness.

Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 East Bayard St., Seneca Falls on Thursday (May 31) from 4 to 6 PM.  Funeral services and burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterloo, NY, will be at the convenience of the family.  If desired, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Margaret was born in Syracuse, NY on August 20, 1920 the daughter of the late Helen and W. Edward Boland.  She lived many years in New York, moved to California and then Arizona.  She enjoyed being with her family, cooking, reading, and crocheting.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt who will be sadly missed.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Barbara Brehaut of Florida, NY, Phyllis (Jack) Lindsay of Seligman, AZ, Loretta (David) Zona of Seneca Falls, NY and daughter-in-law Carol Burke of Savannah, NY.  She is also survived by her brother, Bill (Eileen) Boland; sister-in-law Alice Boland; and by her five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John of 54 years, her son, John, son-in-law, Arthur, brothers Walter, Russell, Richard and Ronald Boland.
