Waterloo – Mary V. Witt, 92, formerly of Garden St., Seneca Falls, NY passed away at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY on Monday (Sept. 22, 2014).

There will be no prior calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Mary was born in Lyons, NY on November 2, 1921, the daughter of the late Carl and Martha Stoetzel Nordblom. She lived in Seneca Falls since 1984 when she came from Lyons, NY. Mary retired from Wayne County as Deputy Commissioner for the Board of Elections. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Lyons, NY and Humanity Chapter #466 – Order of the Eastern Star, Lyons, NY.

Mary is survived by several good friends:
Steve and Cathy Turkett – Seneca Falls, NY
Carol Slattery, Lyons, NY
Besides Mary’s parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Laverne G. Witt, who died in 1992
1 – Son – Robin S. Witt who died in 2006
1 – Sister – Lois Derbshire
And a special friend, Catherine Riley
