Seneca Falls/Syracuse – Maureen H. Healy, 61, of Jamesville Ave, Syracuse, NY, formerly of Seneca Falls, NY, died, unexpectedly, Sunday (December 25, 2011) at her residence.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Thursday
(December 29) from 4 – 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday (December 30) at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, at the convenience of the family. If desired, contributions may be made to the Joslin Center For Diabetes, 750 E. Adams St., Syracuse, NY 13214.
]Maureen was born in Munich, Germany on May 27, 1950 the daughter of Edward A. and the late Helen Boyle Healy Sr. She had resided in Syracuse since 1968 after graduating from Maria Regina College in Syracuse. There, she received an Associate’s Degree in Secretarial Science. Maureen was employed by Cranesville Block Co, formerly Clark Concrete and Trucking, of Syracuse, NY. She had been a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls. Maureen loved to sail, garden and very much enjoyed the dogs she owned over the years.

She was predeceased by her mother, Helen Boyle Healy, who died September 5, 2000 and a brother, Patrick Healy, who died in April of 1982
Maureen was one of our dearest friends, a wonderful woman, and a true friend, and we will always remember her with a tear in our eyes, a lump in our throats, and thanks that we got to know this amazing person. Goodbye, Mo, we’re truly going to miss you….
