Waterloo – Michael E. Cerjanic, 81, of County House Road, Waterloo, NY, died Friday (February 22, 2013) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY.
Family and friends may attend Mike’s Memorial Mass on Wednesday (February 27) at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, NY, with Reverend James Fennessy as Celebrant. Burial, with military honors, will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Church, c/o St. Patrick’s Church office, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY 13165.

Mike was born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania on March 15, 1931 the son of the late Michael & Ann Urick Cerjanic. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars and served 22 years in the U. S. Air Force before retiring. He was a life resident of the Seneca Falls area and a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls. He was the golf pro at Seneca Falls County Club for a number of years and was a member of the Professional Golf Association (P.G.A). He played in many Central New York P.G.A. events over the years but, also competed on the P.G.A. Tour including the Senior P.G.A. Championships in 1988 and 1989. He enjoyed building custom golf clubs, raising and training homing pigeons, playing cards, table tennis & of course a good round of golf with his friends.

In addition to his parents, Mike was predeceased by his daughter, Michele A. Cerjanic-Reese who died March 19, 2008, & 3 sisters, Virginia Elwood, Alice Phillips, & Kathy Visco.
