Geneva - Michael Guy French, 46, of Geneva, died Monday (June 25, 2012) at Upstate Medical University Hospital in Syracuse, with family by his side.
The funeral service will be at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo.

Michael was born February 2, 1966, in Seneca Falls, the son of Peter and Sylvia Jean Snell French. He graduated 1984 from Charles O. Dickerson High School in Trumansburg. He then graduated from Ithaca College with a bachelor’s degree in physical education. He enjoyed different sports.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Sylvia Jean (Jim) Richar of Cayuga; father and step-mother, Peter (Mary) French of Geneva; maternal grandmother, Minnie Hergert of Waterloo; paternal grandmother, Margaret Archer French of Seneca Falls; step-sisters, Terri (Mike) Knebel and Kim (Bryon) Moore all of Trumansburg; step-brothers, Christopher (Amy) John of Spencerport and Jeffrey (Tia) John, Cornelius, NC; aunts, Theresa Trickler of Waterloo, Elizabeth (William) Marsh of San Antonio, TX, and Joyce (John) Champion of Interlaken; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are entrusted to Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo.
