Waterloo - Mona Belle Wooden, 87, of 71 Center Street, died Tuesday (February 28, 2012) at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday (March 2) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The graveside service will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo at the convenience of the family.

Mona was born December 11, 1924 in Rimersburg, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Less W.and Eva Pearl Guntrum. She was a member of the V.F.W. Women’s Auxiliary # 6433. She enjoyed baking and many remember her for her many treats.
She is survived by two sons: Richard (Susan) Wooden of Waterloo and William Wooden of College Point, three daughters: Carol Keefer of Geneva; Brenda (Edgar Echevarria) Wooden and Patricia (James) Sherman both of Waterloo; five grandchildren: Tasha Sherman, James (Eleanor) Sherman, Tiffany Hirons, Cara Wooden, and Paul (Candace) Wooden; two great-grandsons: Eli Wooden and Kaiden Druker; one sister: Greta Abercrombie of Erie, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew W. Wooden on September 18, 2011; two sons: Thomas and Ronald Wooden; one sister: Fonda Guntrum; and two brothers: William and Hank Guntrum.
