Clyde – Neil H. Hoover, 14, of Clyde-Marengo Rd., Clyde, NY, died Wednesday (September 19, 2012).

Family and friends may call at the family home, 889 Clyde-Marengo Rd., Clyde, NY,  on Sunday (September 23) from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 PM.  Funeral services for Neil will be on Monday (September 24) at 9:30 AM at Maple View Mennonite Church, Reed Road, Clyde, NY in the Town of Junius.  Burial will be in the Maple View Mennonite Cemetery next to the church.  The family wishes that flowers kindly be omitted.

Neil was born in Waterloo, NY on July 24, 1998 the son of Irvin B. & Mabel H. Hoover.  He had resided in Clyde, NY since 2002 when he moved there with his family from Waterloo, NY.  Neil was a student at the Mennonite Vocational School in Clyde, NY. He attended, with his parents, the Maple View Mennonite Church, Clyde, NY.

He is survived by:

3 brothers – Nelson (Serena) Hoover – Lyons, NY, Kenneth Hoover – Seneca Falls, NY, Marvin Hoover – Clyde, NY

2 sisters – Louise (Daryl) Martin – Waterloo, NY, Karen (Loren Ray) Martin – Savannah, NY

His maternal grandmother – Anna Hoover – Penn Yan, NY

Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, & cousins

He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, David Hoover & his paternal grandparents, Irvin & Martha Hoover.
