Patricia A. Scattaglia, 85, of Troy St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Tuesday (May 22, 2012) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY, surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral services and burial in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls, will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to Huntington Living Center, E. Main St., Waterloo, NY 13165 or to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Doran Funeral Home, Seneca Falls, NY.
Pat was born in Auburn, NY on November 16, 1926 the daughter of the late Harold & Mildred Baird Willis. She had resided in Seneca Falls since 1944, moving from South Butler, NY. She had been employed by the village of Seneca Falls as a meter maid and she was the first female crossing guard in Seneca County. She also had been employed for several years by Ocram Inc. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls. Pat, over the years, had donated time to the Salvation Army, UNICEF, & March of Dimes. She made dolls, over the years, during the Christmas season for the less fortunate children.
She is survived by:
1 daughter – Sandra (Paul) Velte – Cape Coral, Florida
2 sons – Thomas (Beverly) Scattaglia – Seneca Falls, NY
Michael (Sharon) Scattaglia – Seneca Falls, NY
8 Grandchildren – Michael (Ruth Anne) Scattaglia, Michele Zwick, Oscar (Carolyn) Flite, Christopher Flite, Lisa (Michael) Harris, Daniel (Amanda) Velte, Emilio Scattaglia II, & Nicole (Erik) Peterson.
6 Great Grandchildren – Grace Vinson,Emily & Adam Zwick, Grayson Harris, Isaac Peterson, Nicholas Flite, Cooper Velte and 2 more on the way
1 sister – Priscilla Baker – Red Creek, NY

In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by her husband, Emilio “Paul” Scattaglia who died February 23, 2009, her daughter, Patricia Scattaglia who died April 17, 2006 and her sister, Adalee Castano.
