Seneca Falls - Phyllis Potter Brady McDuffie, 90, of Adam St., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Thursday (April 12, 2012) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Friday (April 20) from 4 - 7 PM. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday
(April 21) at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Phyllis was born in Syracuse, NY on September 25, 1921 the daughter of the late Frederick & Jessie Tenney Potter. She graduated from Nottingham High School, Syracuse, NY and came to Seneca Falls in 1941. She retired from the American Can Co. in Geneva, NY after 25 years of service. She was a member off St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, the Altar Guild Society of St. Patrick’s, and the Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion Auxiliary of Seneca Falls.
She is survived by:
1 daughter - Colleen (James) Marino - Webster, NY
3 sons - Edward (Uayporn) Brady - Seneca Falls, NY
Stephen (Cindi) Brady - Fountain Hills, Arizona
Lewis (Betty) Brady - Phoenix, Arizona
Janeen (John) Wade, who was like her daughter.
10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was predeceased by her husbands, Leo A. Brady and Francis McDuffie, her eldest daughter, Sharon Henry and her husband, Alan Henry, and her grandson Matthew Marino.
