Richard was born in Corning, NY on August 6, 1938 the son of the late Agnes Miller and Samuel Colton. He had resided in Seneca Falls since September of 2012. Richard liked to color and he enjoyed watching old T.V. shows like “Special Cowboys”. He would enjoy yelling at the T.V. when shooting was going on. He enjoyed singing, especially, “Let me call you sweetheart”. He always had a smile and loved talking to anyone who would listen. He just loved telling tall tales. He loved listening to country music, especially those songs by Elvis & Gene Autrey. Richard was a man of many hats, sunglasses, and bowties. It is noted that Richard always looked adorable on Halloween when he dressed as a snowman.
He has no known survivors other than his special family at the Mynderse St. I.R.A., the Geneva Day Hab., and his advocate, Peter Turner.
