Robert F. Cracknell, 82, of Seneca Falls, NY passed away on Friday January 24, 2014 peacefully with his loving family by his side.

Family and friends may attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday (January 28) at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 97 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Spring burial will be in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. There will be no prior calling hours. At the request of the family, they wish no flowers or contributions.

Robert (Bob) was born on November 13, 1931 in Seneca Falls, the son of Robert and Margaret Cracknell. Bob was a lifelong resident of Seneca Falls and was 3rd generation owner of the Electric Shop from which he retired. He was a member of the National Guard and a member in good standing of the Red Jacket Volunteer Fire Department. He served as Treasurer of Red Jacket VFD for 25 years.

Bob is survived by his wife Julia of 63 years; two sons Steve (Chris) Cracknell of Seneca Falls, NY and Randy (Lisa) Cracknell of Bear, DE; two grandsons Nicholas and Joshua Cracknell; his faithful dog KoRi and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Helen Marie (Dick) Berra of Lake of the Woods, VA.
