Robert H. Millis, 81, of Washington St., Seneca Falls, NY, went to be with the Lord on Saturday (August 12, 2017) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY.
Family and friends may attend Bob’s Memorial Service on Saturday (August 19) at 10:30 AM at First United Methodist Church, Seneca Falls, with Reverend Val White, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, River Road, Waterloo, NY 13165.
Bob was born in Phelps, NY on September 13, 1935 the son of the late Harold & Martha Hoppel Millis. He had resided most of his life in Seneca Falls. He retired from Gould’s Pumps of Seneca Falls as a Forman with 38 years of service. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Seneca Falls, the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #992, the S.M.S., & the Odd Fellows Lodge. Bob had been active in Boy Scouts in his earlier years and had achieved the honor of Eagle Scout. He was a member of the Fur, Fin, & Feather Club and enjoyed his many times either hunting, fishing, or gardening. In addition, Bob had a real affinity toward bird watching and building birdhouses. He, also, was honored with his induction into the Mynderse Academy Sports Hall of Fame for his achievements in Baseball.

His daughter – Denise Millis of Geneva, NY
His son – Bruce (Regina) Millis of Cortland, NY
1 brother – Lewis Millis of Seneca Falls, NY
Several nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, Bob was predeceased by 1 sister, Bettylou Young, 1 brother, Ronald Millis, & his sister-in-law, LouAnn Millis.
