Seneca Falls – Robert P. Nageldinger Sr., 60, of Ovid St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Tuesday (December 20, 2011) at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, NY.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Thursday (December 22) from 5 -7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday (December 23) at 9:15 AM at the funeral home and at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor. Burial will follow in Fayette Rural Cemetery, Town of Fayette, NY. If desired, contributions may be made to Palliative Care Program at Strong Memorial Hospital, 601 Elmwood Ave, P.O. Box 687, Rochester, NY 14632 or Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong Memorial Hospital, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14642.
Bob was born in Seneca Falls, NY on December 10, 1951 the son of the late Charles and Sophie Stratach Nageldinger. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and was retired from Gould’s Pumps of Seneca Falls. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls and a member of the United Steel Workers Union. Bob enjoyed building and flying his remote controlled airplanes. He enjoyed racing the Drag Cars that he and his son built together. He, along with his daughter, spent a good deal of time in their flower garden.
He is survived by:

1 son – Robert P. Nageldinger Jr. – Seneca Falls, NY
6 grandchildren – Charles and Rose Nageldinger, Savannah Finn, Michael & Brandon Cornish, Ashley (John) Swarey
5 great grandchildren – Daimion Cornish, Anthony DelPapa, Kaylee Anne Swarey, & Mason & Madison Cornish
1 sister – Sandra Simolo – Waterloo, NY
3 brothers – Roland (Bonnie Herman) Nageldinger – Seneca Falls, NY
Gerald Nageldinger – Seneca Falls, NY
Roger Nageldinger – Seneca Falls, NY
Several nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Deborah Nageldinger who died March 12, 2000, 1 brother, Charles Nageldinger who died August 24, 1988, & his great granddaughter, Emily Swarey who died February 18, 2010
