Seneca Falls – Rose A. Errico, 91 of Rumsey St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Monday (August 8, 2016) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY.
Family and friends may attend Rose’s Mass of Christian Burial on Friday (August 12) at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, NY with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to House of Concern, 35 State St., Seneca Falls, NY 13148.
Rose was born in Lyons, NY on November 9, 1924 the daughter of the late Peter & Philomena Rago Mastracci. She had resided in Seneca Falls most of her life. She was retired from the former Eckert Drugs of Seneca Falls. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, her church’s Guild & Altar Society, & the Rumseyville Sportsman’s Club of Seneca Falls. A greeting card specialist, Rose mailed out many “thinking of you” cards over the years.
She is survived by:
2 daughters – Joanne (William) McHale – Seneca Falls, NY
Kathleen (Donald) House – Wayland, NY
5 grandchildren – Christen (Michael) Smith, Mary (Jeffery) Woodruff, Carrie (Joey) D’Attilio, Joseph (Jennifer) McHale, & Paul House
7 great grandchildren – Quentin, Carson, Graham, & Clara McHale, Daniel & Samuel D’Attilio, & Sarah Rose Woodruff
Several nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Errico who died November 22, 2009, 2 brothers & 6 sisters
