Rosemary M. Milback, 94, of Seneca Falls, NY, formerly of Fayetteville & Manlius, NY, died Thursday (September 19, 2013) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY.
Rosemary was born in Syracuse, NY on July 20, 1919 the daughter of the late John & Rose Feliton O’Hern. She was a graduate of St. Vincent DePaul High School in Syracuse where she was valedictorian of her class. She was a graduate of Powelson Business School, Syracuse, NY and had worked as a secretary for the medical office of Hilbert Harris M.D in Syracuse, NY. Rosemary was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, former member of the Lioness’s of the Lions Club of Syracuse, a former member of the Altar Rosary Society of St. Ann’s Church, Manlius, NY. She loved to golf, sew, and was an excellent cook. She, also, helped her husband with the operation of his furniture store, Meghan’s Furniture Store in Marcellus, NY.
She is survived by:
1 daughter – Susan (Thomas) Connor – Seneca Falls, NY
1 son – David (Catherine) Milback – Fayetteville, NY
6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren
1 sister – Doris (Joseph) Sgambati – Syracuse, NY
Several nieces and nephews
Rosemary was predeceased by her husband, George E. Milback, her great grandson, Caleb Martin, and her brother, James O’Hern.
Calling hours will be Monday (September 23) from 9 AM to 10:15 AM Doran Funeral Home, Seneca Falls, NY followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Fall.
