Seneca Falls – Rosina “Rose” B. DePasquale, 96, formerly of Joanne Ave., Seneca Falls, NY, passed away on Thursday (May 17, 2018) at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Waterloo, NY.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Sunday (May 27) from 2 PM to 4 PM followed by a funeral service at 4 PM, at the funeral home, with Reverend Val White, Pastor of First United Methodist Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial in St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the House of Concern, 35 State St., Seneca Falls, NY 13148 or to Beverly Animal Shelter, River Rd., Waterloo, NY 13165.
Rose was born in Seneca Falls, NY on December 1, 1921 the daughter of the late Frank & Minnie Lee Buchanan Pitrella. She was a life resident of Seneca Falls. She earned both her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from St. Thomas Aquinas College in New York City. She had taught 4th grade in the Seneca Falls Central Schools for a number of years. She was a very athletic woman well into her nineties, enjoying the game of bocce, her many rounds of golf, and her games of Bridge. Rose, also, enjoyed her trips to the movie theater to take in a good movie with her sister, Cora.

3 nephews – Gary & Joe Tanzarello, & Jim Pitrella
1 niece – Joanne Pitrella Woods
In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by her husband, James L. DePasquale who died April 10, 1997, her son-in-law, Leslie C. Noble who died November 24, 2013, & her 2 brothers, James & Frank Pitrella
