Seneca Falls – Royce E. Moshier, 73, of Cos Cob, CT. and Route 89 on the lake, Seneca Falls, died Wednesday (May 29) at University Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, NY.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, on Sunday (June 2) from 1 to 3 PM, followed by a funeral service at the funeral home at 3 PM with Reverend Thomas Esttey, Pastor of Waterloo United Methodist Church, Waterloo, NY, officiating. Friends may call at the Fred D. Knapp & Son Funeral Home, 267 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich, CT. on Wednesday (June 5) from 5 to 7:30 PM with a funeral service to follow at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Royce was born in Cos Cob, CT. on December 10, 1939 the son of the late Sylvester E. & Ethel Caldwell Moshier. He was a 1958 graduate of Greenwich, Ct. High School and had served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War. He retired from Barnes Engineering E.D.O. Corporation of Shelton, CT. in 1998 after 36 years of service and where he was Manager of Aerospace Electrical Engineering. Royce had resided in Seneca Falls on Cayuga Lake since his retirement in 1998. He was a member of the Mianus River Boat Club in Cos Cob, CT. He enjoyed playing baseball over the years and at the first base position. He also enjoyed a good game of Euchre.
Royce was a gentleman who always had a kind word and who always was right there with a helping hand. He has found his place in Heaven with his good friend, Joe Milucci, where they are both listening to George Jones country music.
