Waterloo - Shirley Frasier Dibble, 84, of Waterloo, died Sunday (January 22, 2012) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Friends may call 2 - 4 p.m. Saturday (Jan. 28) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The Baha’i service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Red Cross, 83 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, 13148. In the memo of your check please specify Meals on Wheels.
Shirley was born March 15, 1927, in Syracuse, the daughter of Gordon and Elfa Whitney Frasier. She attended Morrisville College. She was a homemaker for many years raising her children. She joined the workforce at Parker Hannifin, working for twenty-five years before her retirement. She loved swimming, boating and being near water. She also enjoyed old-time movies.
She is survived by seven sons, Martin (Margaret) Dibble of Moscow, ID, Tom (Charlotte) Dibble of South Africa, John Dibble of Sodus Point, Allen (Pam) Dibble of Palmyra, Earl (Deb) Dibble of Lolo, MT, Dan (Joni) Dibble of Waterloo, Bruce (Betty ) Dibble of Sodus Point, four daughters, Judy (Steve) Green of Waterloo, Elfa (Bob) Buggey of Fairbanks, AK, Becky (Eric) Lewis of Newport News, VA, Lauretta (Russ) George of Myrle, SC, one daughter-in-law, Beth (John) Jones of Waterloo, thirty-two grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one brother, Weston “Skip” (Twila) Frasier of KY, one brother-in-law Gordon Dibble, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, John M. Dibble; one son, Brian Dibble; one daughter, Carol Dibble Ward; and one brother, Bruce Frasier.
