Baldwinsville - Susan L. Alexander, 55, of 14 Braeside Rd., formerly of the Finger Lakes area, died Monday (May 14, 2012) at Upstate Medical University Hospital in Syracuse.

In keeping with Susan’s wishes there will be no prior calling hours. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday (May 18), at Restvale Cemetery in Seneca Falls. Lena Shipley, pastoral associate for St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waterloo, will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to CNY SPCA, 5878 E. Molloy Rd., Syracuse, 13211.

Susan was born January 15, 1957 in Seneca Falls, the daughter of the late Herman and Betty Bachman Duquette. She graduated from Mynderse Academy. She was a supervisor for Empire Vision at their East Syracuse Lens Manufacturing Location.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Alexander, two sons, Donald J. and Michael J. Alexander both at home; brother, John Duquette of Cortez, CO; sister, Beatrice (Philip) Calabrese of Waterloo; and several nieces.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo.
