Seneca Falls – Thomas G. Terry, 60, of Mynderse St., Seneca Falls, NY, died Saturday (January 5, 2013) at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Buffalo, NY.
Family and friends may call at the Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY on Thursday (January 10) from 4 – 7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday (January 11) at 10 AM at the funeral home with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow at St. Columbkille Cemetery, Seneca Falls. If desired, contributions may be made to the Ladies and Men’s Auxiliary of the Lt. Cyrus Garnsey Post #1323, 47 Fall St., Seneca Falls, NY 13148.
The Lt. Cyrus Garnsey Post #1323 VFW Honor Guard of Seneca Falls will conduct military honors at the funeral home on Thursday evening ( January 10) at 6 PM.
Tom was born in Rochester, NY on December 19, 1952 the son of Gordon & Dorothy McMaster Terry. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War, serving in the U.S. Navy. He had resided in Seneca Falls for 13 years, moving from Rochester, NY. He was retired from Kodak of Rochester, NY where he was a Technical Engineer. He also had been employed by the former Farrell Inc. of Rochester, NY. He was a member and past president of the Lt. Cyrus Garnsey Post #1323 VFW Men’s Auxiliary, Seneca Falls. Tom’s position with Kodak and the former Farrell Inc. allowed him to travel all over the world.
