Seneca Falls – Thomas J. DeSarro, 73, of Route 89, Seneca Falls, NY, died, unexpectedly, Friday (January 16, 2015).
Family and friends may attend Tom’s Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday (January 21) at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, 97 W. Bayard St., Seneca Falls, NY with Reverend James Fennessy, Pastor, as celebrant. Burial, with military honors, will be at a later date in Canoga Cemetery, Town of Fayette, NY. If desired, contributions may be made to the House of Concern, 35 State St., Seneca Falls, NY 13148.
Tom was born in Seneca Falls, NY on June 29, 1941 the son of the late Joseph & Virginia Carnevale DeSarro. He had resided most of his life in Seneca Falls and was a U. S. Navy veteran serving in Viet Nam. A 1959 graduate of Mynderse Academy, he then earned his BA in Business and Accounting from Michigan State University. He was retired from the Seneca Falls Post Office where he was a postal carrier. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Church, Seneca Falls, NY. Tom, also, was a member of the Lt. Cyrus Garnsey Post #1323 VFW, the Kirk-Casey Post #366 American Legion, and the S.M. S. all of Seneca Falls, NY. Tom enjoyed a good round of golf and a good game of Euchre.
He is survived by:

1 step-son – Kenneth (Mary) DiDomineck – Bath, NY
5 grandchildren – James, Connor, & Ian DiDomineck & Alicia & Owen Dalrymple
3 sisters – Rose Ann Pucino – Seneca Falls, NY
Joyce Socci – Atlanta, Georgia
Ginny (Mark) Piscitelli – Baldwinsville, NY
1 brother – Joseph DeSarro – Seneca Falls, NY
Several nieces, nephews, & cousins
In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by his wife, Gay Magargel DeSarro who died in 2000 and his mother-in law Eleanor Magargel.
