Seneca Falls – William H. Caraher Sr., 91 of Gravel Road, Seneca Falls, NY, died Thursday (November 17, 2016) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY.
Family and friends may attend Bill’s Memorial Service on Tuesday (November 22, 2016) at 11 AM at Doran Funeral Home, 4 E. Bayard St., Seneca Falls with Reverend Leah Ntuala, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Seneca Falls, officiating. Burial will be in Restvale Cemetery, Seneca Falls, at the convenience of the family. There will be no prior calling hours. If desired, contributions may be made to Huntington Living Center, 369 E. Main St., Waterloo, NY 13165 in Bill’s memory.
Bill was born in Seneca Falls, NY on October 2, 1925 the son of the late James & Marjorie Cook Caraher. He was a life resident of Seneca Falls and had served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Bill had owned and operated the former Seneca Press in Seneca Falls. He was a former member of the Seneca Falls Elks Lodge #992.

His wife, Arlene J. Fleury Caraher of Seneca Falls whom he married on August 23, 1947.

In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his 3 sons, William H. Jr., Kevin Joseph, & William Paddison Caraher, 1 brother, James Caraher, his 2 sons-in-law, Mark Bonney & Rick Brookins, & his step-father, William Paddison
