On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at 9:17 am the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department responded to 192 Ovid Street, the Seneca Manor Mobile Home Park for a report of gun shots fired. Following the investigation it was found that a sixteen-year-old male, who’s name is being withheld due to his age, inadvertently fired a 12 gauge shotgun inside his home.
The negligent discharge sent a single round through the wall of his trailer, traveling outside, then through two other residences. The sixteen-year old-was charged with two counts of Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree, and two counts of Criminal Mischief 4th degree.
He was processed, released on an appearance ticket and is due in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on December 4, 2017, at 5:30 pm to answer the charges.
