Seneca Daily News established a Facebook Page for the fund-raiser for the Dickenson family, who lost their home to fire recently. To date, nearly 2500 invitations have been sent out and nearly 200 people have responded. This community does a great job in coming together to meet the needs of those who have suffered such disasters as the Ticconi family and Dickenson families have faced.
SDN is really a third party in this process, which many other folks have initiated. Many individuals have asked on the Facebook Event page what they could do to help, so we have contacted the folks who are directly involved. People can help out in the following ways:
To donate money contact: Investigator Rob Lahr (315-220-3445)
To donate furniture: contact Deputy Scott Buck (315-220-3416) they will pick it up and store for family.
The Dickensons could use a mobile home or camper to set up where the house burned.
The family’s goats are birthing and they need round the clock monitoring.
Mr. Dickerson needs clothing: size 3X shirts and 46 to 50 pants in seam 36″.
